Leftovers

Another man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

Eating the same thing over and over may not bring much pleasure.

According to who?

The greedy.

They’re never satisfied.

Quail and Manna are never enough.

Instead of being thankful, they called God’s bluff.

He graciously makes them look silly, and out of pity, He provides.

So why do we complain?

We can’t stand the mundane.

Excitement drives us...

Away from the Lord and over to our passions.

His compassion draws us back, but not for long.

Now we’re in the corner singing the same tired song.

The cycle continues.

Thank God for His grace.
