Alone Pt.2

“In the same way, encourage the young men to be self-controlled in everything. Make yourself an example of good works with integrity and dignity in your teaching.”

Titus 2:6-7 (HCSB)

The verses above are just words on a page.

Not reality.

I’m not the only one; others are drowning around me.

There are not enough life jackets for us.

We can hope for the best and say, “In God we trust.”

It doesn’t have to be like this.

I’m praying for change.

I wish I knew a man like the one described in the verse.

I made some attempts, but I kept getting hurt.

So I’ll fall back and read the writings of old wise men lying in the dirt.

Hopefully, that will work.
